Are you frusted of using different formation in Top Eleven and not getting satisfactory results? Are you in search of a stable formation for your team? If yes, then you are in the right place.
Top eleven gives us the flexibility to use several numbers of formations although only a few of them work effectively. Many managers wonder about what formation should be used to get a satisfactory result. Now the selection of a formation depends on the opposition’s formation and quality and accordingly you can choose formations to counter them. We have already posted a very useful article about counter formation with tactics (click here to visit) and you can go for those formations to counter the opponent.
But the problem arises when you don’t have a decent player for a particular formation. for example, if the counter-formation uses ML and MR and you have only AMR and AML then no point of using that counter formation. So making your squad versatile might prove costly as buying players with multiple positions or buying players from all positions is tough due to the busy transfer market. So it is hard to have decent players for all positions.
So due to these restrictions, one manager should have a default formation which he/she uses most of the time which includes all the best players in the club. So how to choose that default formation? To answer this question we have to look around the recent popular formations in top eleven that the successful managers are using and are working these days.
From various feedback and discussions, we found three formations that are giving satisfactory results and successful managers are using them now a days, which I am going to discuss one by one.
This is the most popular formation in Top Eleven nowadays as it balances both attack and defense. You just need to have well trained AMR and AML and then they will become Goal Machines
This is another successful formations in top eleven these days which works specially against weaker or same quality managers. It gives more attacking opportunities
This is a very attacking formation which can rip the opponent apart. However, if you are facing a stronger opponent or the opponent manager is playing with 2 ST it is recommended that you use the above two formations rather using this.
If you have come across any other formation/s then please let us know and feel free to ask if you have any doubts or in understanding any part of the list. Your valuable suggestion is always appreciable.
